Krystal D. Tawney

Krystal is a West Virginia native who was born and raised in southern West Virginia. Krystal attended West Virginia University for both her undergraduate and graduate degrees. Krystal has a passion for Dermatology and truly believes in the message she brings. She understands first-hand how skin cancer can affect a family. After losing her grandmother to Melanoma Skin Cancer, Krystal vowed to help as many individuals and families prevent such a devastating situation and win the battle against skin cancer.

As a Dermatology Certified and Board-Certified Nurse Practitioner, what sets Krystal apart from other health care providers is her unique emphasis on the health and well-being of the whole person. She focuses on health promotion, prevention, education, and counseling. Krystal enjoys bringing her comprehensive approach to each client and listening to her clients specific goals. She tailors her approach to the person, not the condition nor the medication. Always considering the physical, physiological, and emotional aspects, Krystal values her client’s viewpoint as an important part of treatment.
